I wrote last month about being chosen to host a Chex Party Mix-Change. One of the recipes from the Mix-Change was Chex PB and Chocolate Blast. It was a big hit!
YUM!
Along with this recipe there were recipes for; Chex Pumpkin Pie Crunch, Hot Buttered Yum Chex Mix and Chex Caramel-Chocolate Drizzles. You can get all the recipes by clicking here Chex Party Mix-Change Recipes.
The Chex PB and Chocolate Blast took just minutes to make. There are a couple things I did, or would do differently next time.
I don't have a huge refrigerator so when it said to line 2 cookie sheets with waxed paper, I knew I wouldn't have room. Instead, I only used one. I simply put another piece of waxed paper on top of the first coated cereal, and then put the other coated cereal on top. It turned out great and took up less room.
Next time I think I will add the peanuts to the peanut butter coated cereal before it goes in the refrigerator to cool and I will add the M&Ms to the white chocolate coated cereal before it goes in the refrigerator. If you look at my picture, you can see the that M&Ms and peanuts all kind of sink to the bottom. I think if you combine them in then it will be more evenly distributed.
Hope you enjoy the recipes! With each of them only taking minutes, the only hard decision will be which to make first.
